Jasemine

This was a very complex cosmetic case. The patient came to us unhappy with the appearance of her four front teeth, which had very similar widths and lengths, creating proportions that felt unbalanced within her smile.

We had several detailed discussions about the treatment options, including whether to treat four teeth or extend the case to six teeth for greater control over overall proportions. The patient ultimately elected to treat the front four teeth.

Her treatment involved retreatment of previous root canals, periodontal therapy, and internal bleaching to help manage the darker underlying tooth structure before the final restorations were completed.

Would treating six teeth have given us more flexibility to redistribute the widths and refine the proportions even further? Yes. However, within the more conservative four-tooth approach the patient selected, we were able to achieve a significant improvement in symmetry, color, and overall smile balance.

Procedures: porcelain crowns, root canal therapy, internal bleaching, bite guard therapy.
